Key differences between kei and ordinary vehicles:Kei vehicles are not subject to the ordinary registration system; procedures are mainly handled by the Light Motor Vehicle Inspection Organization, and plates have no seal. Ordinary vehicles generally require a parking certificate before registration, while kei vehicles require parking notifications in designated areas. Documents depend on the base of use, vehicle condition and any jurisdiction change, so we check each case.

For eligible ordinary-vehicle plate changes, the seal can be fitted at your home or business without taking the vehicle to the transport office.
